I’ve been looking for a dwell meter, but no one seems to make a standalone dwell meter anymore. There are multimeters with dwell metering ability, but I already have a multimeter, and didn’t want to buy another one just for the dwell metering. So I found this thing at work, got 6! C cell batteries for it, and I’ll find out if it works this weekend. It’s somewhat confusing, and I’ll have no way of knowing if it’s accurate, so I might have to buy another multimeter anyways...
I also got a timing light from amazon, so now I get to see if my engine even has timing marks on it, and try and get it running better.

That’s a very cool find! I think my dwell meter is on a dusty shelf somewhere in my parents’ garage. I really don’t miss dealing with points.

Yeah, if everything keeps going well with the Volvo, I think electronic ignition is in it’s future
